PATIENTS AS PROVIDERS-2002
The second program of Patients as Providers built on what was
recognized as a ground-breaking format which allowed the participation
of patients with Parkinson’s, support organization leaders,
doctors, and researchers. Getting all of these different entities
in one room encourages the free flow of information and the
chance to interact with lots of different people from all over
the country. PLWP (People Living With Parkinson’s) is
the catalyst for this venture and the co-founders, Nancy Abraham
from New York and Brenda Tucker from Tennessee bring all of
their skills to focus in preparing the agenda for this meeting
which was held at the University of Illinois College of Medicine
on May 25th, 2002 at 9:30 am in Peoria, IL.
